Election Scam in Ethiopia

An election is a decision making process where a population chooses an individual to hold official offices. This is the usual mechanism by which modern democracy fills offices in the legislature, sometimes in the executive and judiciary, and for regional and local government. This is also typically the case in a wide range of other private and business organizations, from clubs to voluntary associations and corporations.

The Ethiopian people have witnessed another election where most of opposition groups are boycotted and for those who participated have not got a get a clean and fair election.

Historically we have seen all dictators in Africa running for the president or local election, who claimed 100% win.

This is not a new tactic or a model for Africa to sell to the European’s or United States of America policy makers and in general to the world democratic forces.

Today technology accesses the gaps from the previous Dictators, from Africa and the rest of the world and the controlling forces of the media have been changed.

We are in the information technology world where you can access instant news in a matter of a second and we are thankful to be able to do that.

Today what is going in our country is not different from the old regimes with African dictators, where people has no access to information that was different than what the rulers wanted to ram down their throats.

The truth of the matter is that our so called leaders are lying to the very people they claim to serve. They are only serving their own interests. They wouldn’t know what truth really is if it hit them in the face. They spend their time thinking of ways to demoralize the human spirit and take what is not theirs to take. They live lives of desperation. History will never be kind to these individuals for they lack the moral fortitude to know what the truth really is. We stand with our people and we fight their cause. We will never leave them in the shadows of life. For in the end democracy will prevail and goodness in life will lift us all. Those who oppose this basic right to choose fairly who will lead us will find out in the end they are the weak ones. Forward and united we go.
thank you
