Zuma deputy to be S Africa leader

can members of woyanne organization had the right to ask their leaders to resign? South Africa’s ruling party has chosen its deputy leader Kgalema Motlanthe to replace Thabo Mbeki as president.

The African National Congress (ANC) said it had named Mr Motlanthe to take the position of caretaker president.

Parliament is to confirm Mr Motlanthe’s appointment to the post, which he will hold until elections in early 2009.
